Info-Organiser recognises that information management can not exist on it own. It must be an integral part of any organisation's business processes and data management environment. Info-Organiser offers an ActiveX and .NET application interface that allows third party custom applications to be developed that emulate the document management functions available in Info-Organiser.

A comprehensive set of API functions are available that allow 3rd party applications to be enabled with document management. Such functions include the ability to add, manage and access files and folders while maintaining security and integrity. Most importantly a search interface is also available which leverages Info-Organiser powerful searching capabilities. Finally the same reporting and exporting capabilities in Info-Organiser are also available via the API.

Because the API supports both .NET and ActiveX environments, integration is possible using a range of development tools including Visual Basic, C++ and InterDev version 6, Visual Studio .NET, i.e. VB.NET, C## and ASP.NET, Delphi and any other development tool or language that supports ActiveX or the .NET framework.
